Let us recall that "Bible Thumpers" today stand with yesterday's leading men of History that made this country great.

When someone makes the statement “Bible Thumper“, they refer to a Bible-believing Christian in a negative way.  Yet, I feel great joy in my hope that they are talking about me.  I stand in great company with men and women of America's History.  I must have said something that caused them to think of the Truth in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.   I consider my words as being recognized as one obeying the command of Jesus, Who is Truth.  Anyone against this Truth would be against God, family, and country.  These are the people/voters (the minority) who call those of us (the majority) who are believers in the Word of God, "Bible Thumpers."

Let us examine the type of Atheist Secular Humanist Marxist Liberal politician (many in office now)/voter that would call someone mentioning the Word of God, a "Bible Thumper."  In our nation, these people have been very successful in ridiculing a Christian person into silence, by attacking, in many ways, their person-hood because they cannot attack their strong Godly points of view.  The views simply make too much sense.  By these attacks, piece-by-piece, they are "legally" removing the mention of God/Bible from our society--and inch-by-inch pushing our nation into their designed atheistic decadent society/culture--yes, liberally legalizing sin in Courts.  For decades we have allowed them to make great strides in realizing their goals of an amoral society--as they caused us to fear and run from their false accusations that wrongfully shamed us into silence, because of our beliefs.  They have us ashamed of the wrong thing!  We should not be ashamed of being a "Bible Thumper"--we should be ashamed that they silenced us!  Think about that!  Think about how the opposition counts on us being ashamed and silenced!

Think about the millions of voters who are distressed by this amorality and lack of virtue occurring more and more in our society, as Christian voters/people are demeaned, shoved into their closets, and forced to remain silent, and they know that no one is stepping forward to lead them in a virtuous, moral manner.  These people are not afraid of being called "Bible Thumpers"--just the opposite--they are humbly proud of it--and want the same kind of successful leadership--knowing that is the only way to a once-again successful nationhood--even helping to retain our sovereignty.

For just a moment, let us focus on the important words Values and Virtues.

Values
are concepts or theories that exist in the mind and change with the belief system of the person--according to how they believe or feel about a situation--relativism--situational ethics.  Values are what the Liberal Humanist Politicians and Educators base their Atheist Humanistic Religious beliefs on (while thumping their Humanist Manifest Bible).  They have successfully, as social(ist)/culture change-agents, steered the adult citizens and students in classrooms across the nation, to focus on slippery Values, for decades, instead of unchanging Biblical Virtues.  They have, to further their goals, necessarily eliminated Virtues from the debate.  Depending on the person's belief system, these Values can be inimical to a society.  (A criminal can find a reason for his actions/values.  This is very devisive for a nation and its Court systems).  However, and this is what is so very important, Biblical Virtues are immutable--cannot be changed--and are part of the conscience of a person.  Preaching or teaching Values instead of Virtues forces the elimination of Virtues.  Virtues remain the same for everyone in a nation and these stability-producing Virtues are what are so important to the "Bible Thumper" and his goal for a civilized will-ordered world. Humanist Values and Christian Virtues are what separate the worldviews of the politicians' opposing goals.  It just so happens that these Virtues are Biblically-based.  Ergo, anyone fostering Virtues as opposed to Values is called a:  "Bible Thumper."

At this particular time in our nation, one must not be ashamed or afraid to be classified a "Bible Thumper."  There are millions of people who are dying to have a "Bible Thumper"--if that is what the opposition delights in calling them--step forward to run for office in our local, state and national governments.

Many people will not be voting come November because the choice of candidates do not represent the virtues resulting in their values that support their real concerns, but will find these values/virtues and concerns represented and fought for in a "Bible Thumper" candidate--again, if that is what the "opposition" desires to call their competition.  We must not be ashamed of these words--or run from them--that is what the opposition is banking on.  WE MUST MAKE THEM FEAR USING THOSE WORDS--THEY HAVE A VERY GOOD CONNOTATION!

It also allows me to pause for a moment, because, with the recognition I enjoy as a “Bible Thumper,”  I would be in the company of some of the greatest men our country has been blessed with in the past.  Though they are greater than I, they, and I would not feel worthy to carry the sandals of Jesus. If you would listen and really hear the words of the Founders that brought this country into existence, you would be proud to be called a "Bible Thumper" also, because such men were those who gave us a nation like no other.

Twenty-four of the fifty-six men that signed the Declaration of Independence (their death warrant), were "Bible Thumpers" with Seminary degrees and Doctoral degrees.   And the overwhelming majority of the signers of the Declaration of Independence would be called "Bible Thumpers."

One of the youngest "Bible Thumpers" to sign the Declaration of Independence was Dr. Benjamin Rush, who trained 3,000 doctors, and helped start colleges and universities, and called for a free public education.  He stated, “The only foundation for a useful education in a republic is to be laid in religion. Without this there can be no virtue, and without virtue there can be no liberty, and liberty is the object and life of all republican governments. Without religion, I believe that learning does real mischief to the morals and principles of mankind.”

Follow that with a gentleman named George Washington, serving the country for 50 years and who was shot at as he led men into battle.  He was called the Father of our Country and he stated,  “Reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle…Promote, then, as an object of primary importance, institutions for the general diffusion of knowledge.”   This "Bible Thumper,"  as he spoke to the nation, would not call you a patriot if you did any thing to subvert the indispensable pillars of religion and morality.

How about that "Bible Thumper"Gouverneur Morris, who was the most active member during the making of the Constitution, speaking more than anyone else, and was the Penman and Signer of the Constitution.  He had this to say, “Religion is the only solid basis of good morals, therefore education should reach the precepts of religion and the duties of man towards God.”

And in case you think these gentlemen were talking about those impostors (pagans) or infidels, as they called them, know that the make up of America at that time was 98% Christian Protestant, and 2% Christian Catholic--understanding when they mentioned God or His Son Jesus, they were referring to Scripture.

Then look at the "Bible Thumper" Noah Webster, who not only put the dictionary together with numerous Scriptural references, he was a soldier, attorney, educator, public official, and author.  He did indeed put together the dictionary, which took twenty years, and during that time he learned twenty languages.  He then dedicated the dictionary to God.  He  had this to say, “In my view, the Christian religion is the most important and one of the first things in which all children, under a free government, ought to be instructed… No truth is more evident to my mind than that the Christian religion must be the basis of any government intended to secure the rights and privileges of a free people.”

Noah was also called the School Master to the Nation, and he said, “Education is useless without the Bible.”   When he published his History of the United States, he wrote, "His desire that our citizens should early understand that the genuine source of correct republican principles is the bible, particularly the New Testament or the Christian religion… The moral principles and precepts contained in the Scriptures ought to form the basis of all of our civil constitutions and laws…All the miseries and evils which men suffer from vice, crime, ambition, injustice, oppression, slavery and war, proceed from their despising or neglecting the precepts contained in the Bible."   What a wonderful "Bible Thumper!"   If we had him in charge of education again in this country, we could once again become a great nation, ridding ourselves of the immorality and corruption which exists at all levels of government, education, and society.

Patrick Henry was called the Firebrand of the American Revolution and he stated, “The great pillars of all government and of social life…are virtue, morality, and religion. This is the armor, my friend, and this alone, that renders us invincible.”  Again, talking about Christianity as he Thumped the Bible, was the longest running governor in the history of the United States and many wanted him to be President.

President Thomas Jefferson is called one of the least religious of the Founding Fathers yet called the "Bible" "....the cornerstone for  American liberty" and wanted "it placed in our schools as the light that should lead their way."  This "Bible Thumper," in today’s standard, also cautioned, “I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that His justice cannot sleep forever.”

Benjamin Franklin reminded the Delegates at the Constitutional Convention where he also called for prayer to lead each day: “And have we now forgotten that powerful friend? Or do we imagine we no longer need His assistance? … Without His concurring aid… we ourselves shall become a reproach and a byword down to future ages."  Just another "Bible Thumper."

John Jay was the fist Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court, “Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers, and it is the duty as well as the privilege and interest of our Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers.”  Wow,
imagine that!  "Bible Thumpers"in all parts of the Government and Education of the people that made this country a great nation!  And not hiding it a bit and certainly, unequivocally, unashamedly practicing "the thumping."  And as a result--we were a great nation.

Please note:  First:  No mention of "Values" in the above quotes--but the mention of "Virtues" permeated their speech.  Secondly:  When Christians were/are in charge of elected offices of leadership in our nation, leading and guiding the people using Christian principles and virtues, and thumping about it, our nation's people have known from whence this nation came, where it was each day, and where it was going, on an extremely healthy path firmly established in Godly order.  That has made us great in the past and it can, once again, be our future.  Without "Bible Thumping?"....I don't think so!

We have allowed a small percentage of atheists, pagans, Marxist socialists, and humanists and even some neo-Christians that are enemies of God, family, and country,  to cry out so loud that many Christians have been silenced as they retreat in fear. What a joy for the citizens of our country when more Statesmen/Stateswomen stand up in the shadows of a former true Christian Statesmen like Dr. Benjamin Rush, George Washington, Gouverneur Morris, Noah Webster, Patrick Henry, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, John Jay, and all the key leaders that built this country.  No negative people shouting "Bible Thumping" could stand in their presence.

What a joy for me to be called a "Bible Thumper," and what a rejoicing for our nation's citizens when all of our key leaders are called "Bible Thumpers" again, not because of their rhetoric, but because of their successful actions as a result of Who their/our Leader is, enabling the people to once again have true hope for their posterity.

My leader, the Greatest Bible Thumper Who ever lived-though He did not run for a political office--gave us His Perfect moral leadership and guidance to follow.  He's my Boss and I like what He likes!
